I just want to say I'm in my forties and I heard Tony on a cable misic network who plays alot songs that are not on the radio. I heard that song and said I have to get this prior to this alot people say bad things about your music,however I don't think they ever truly heard your cd. I'm like the the responder that I heard your cd while driving it and I couldn't get enough of it. I called 97.9 box to play your song and they said well it not promoted by your label. I thought the listners had a say even still I will keep trying to to get people to listen. It is soooooooooo refreshing of a sound keep up the good work in acting and and singing and by the way I love you in both of your movies bring it on and with Vanessa Williams. You have that sassy temperment which I love reminds me of Jada Pickett in her earlier movies.

I have to begin by apologizing for all of the typos in my previous post.-lol ..moving along... This album is mesmerizing!! I have been listening to this for a few days now. In my car.. at work.. bringing it in the house. .. I know my husband thinks I am CRAZY. I just want to comment on how talented Solange is. I may identify with her style because I too like all types of music and always have. I have liked Bjork.. Kurt Cobain.. some of the old Courtney love songs (ex.. doll parts).. I like white stripes.. a lot of the old grunge styled rock music.. some of which I only know the songs I like but not necessarily the artists. but on the other end of the spectrum, I LOVE hip hop from wutang, mos def, talib,jay z of course.. BIGGIE~~~ mobb deep a lot of the underground mix tape hip hop, because they tend to do better when they are hungry... and it goes on and on. I can't even begin to name them all. I loved a lot of that style of music before it was popular for a girl such as myself to like it. My friends would tell me "you don't look like you should like that kind of music". I just love good music and Solange is making good music. I do like Chrisette Michelle and have been feeling Jazmine Sullivan lately. of course I love B. She is so talented and soooooo HATED ON. I can identify with that for sure!! So Solange.. just keep strong. I know you will have a lot of HATERS who say your music is WHACK. But you have already addressed the Haters and are being true to yourself. You and B are hated on because you are not only talented but Beautiful from the inside out.. and that is what the haters are really hating on.- KEEP MAKING GOOD MUSIC AND BEING TRUE TO YOURSELF.

I just want to say that I love this Album. I heard <strong>T.O.N.Y </strong>on<strong> </strong>the radio the other day and new I had to go get the album. I am killing * <strong>would've been the one</strong>;Sand Castle;Both I decided Tracks;<strong>I told you so</strong>; I like the intro track God Given Name and 6 o'clock Blues. I like the whole album but these are the ones I listen to the most. I love the soulful quality to Solange's Voice. I do think that her and B sound similar, but thats just in the genes. The different style of music sets them apart. I hate that Solange seemingly will have to work harder to becuase of her Older Sister, but that is just how it is. I think she is talented in her own right. I am feeling a lot of the things she is saying in her tracks and can certainly relate to a lot of it. I didn't think I would be.. but I must say I am a Solange fan. It is so refreshing to hear somethinhg DIFFERENT.. so tired of the same mundane stuff. I know the Knowles Mom and Dad must be proud to have 2 beautiful talented daughers. Do your thing girl!!

im a 16 year old from israel and L-O-V-E your music!!!! i love the oldies style of your cd, espacially- TONY, DANCING IN THE DARK, I DECIDED, SANDCASTLE DISCO, WOULD'VE BEEN THE ONE, but i have a PROBLEM- i really want to buy your cd but i can't find it in any store in israel... did you released it in israel??? and i also don't wanna buy it from the internet because its without the cover and the booklet... WHAT CAN I DO???? I REALLY WANT THIS CD!!!
